Side Events & Exhibits | UN Climate Change Conference November 2021 (COP 26)

As communicated to all Parties and admitted organizations on 15 June, the SEORS opening closed on 2 July. We have opened a waiting list to receive further applications for those who did not meet the deadline. The secretariat will contact those on the waiting list in case of cancelations made by selected event organizers.

Before applying, please carefully review the frequently asked questions and the Side events and exhibits application manual http://unfccc.int/files/inc/graphics/image/gif/pdf.gif  Side events and exhibits application manual.

We do recognize that the side events and exhibitions are, like the rest of COP, subject to conditions that may be imposed by the Covid-19 Pandemic. However, in order to plan adequate time for the assessment of the application content for side events and exhibits, we are opening the process at this timing.

New information on exhibits at COP 26

In light of the experiences gained connecting wider communities using online tools, and in order to reduce the need for in-person attendance with associated climate impacts, all exhibits at COP 26 will be organized as virtual exhibits online.

Duration of virtual exhibits: 2 weeks. Virtual exhibits will be up and live for the whole conference.

The virtual exhibits platform will enable selected exhibit organizers to display written and audio-visual content and use such engagement functionalities as the chat function. More detailed information on the virtual exhibits platform will be communicated to selected exhibit organizers upon completion of the selection process.

Applications by UN organizations are outside of this scope and the inter-agency coordination for UN side events at COP 26 is undertaken by the UNFCCC secretariat.

Please note that all applicants must register for a new personal account in SEORS for each conference. User names and passwords from previous conferences will not work.
